I didn't take many photos last week. I don't know what my deal is but I need to get back to it. Fall is a beautiful time in the Ozarks and especially in my neighborhood. I need to get outside and enjoy it.
Friday I was back at Crystal Bridges, this time as a chaperone on the fourth grade field trip. I certainly experienced the museum differently this time! And didn't get to take near as many photos.
The Springfield Arts Council has an upcoming show titled Nourish: From the Palette to the Palate which is a little ironic since I started the hashtag #palate_to_palette on Instagram earlier this year. Most of those pieces have either sold or just aren't what I'm into anymore so I might be starting a new series. This pear is still in progress.
I bought this scooter at a garage sale about two years ago for seven dollars. I thought the kids would love it. I remember riding it home while balancing a stack of books on the handlebar. When I got home, the kids didn't want it so I've been riding it since. The other day we were running late for school so I stuck Clara on the the front of it and scooted her to school. She's been riding it ever since that morning. I guess it's hers now. :(
Thad did the Tough Mudder on Saturday. It was his second time. I think it's like an addiction. I didn't get to go so I 'borrowed' this photo and photoshopped out the girl that was standing on their right. Don't look to closely, I'm not that good at photoshopping.
And that was life through my lens last week.
