Three and a half weeks into the new year and I've read four books. [Not too shabby!] I'm on my way to my goal of 50 books for 2014. I'm trying to have a fiction and nonfiction book going at the same time, yet I've finished three fiction books and only one non-fiction. Non-fiction just takes me longer to read. For this one, I even took a few notes. So that's totally ok.
I'd seen quite a lot of buzz about The Circle so I was excited to read it. It WILL kind of scare you away from social media a bit. It certainly made me think about where we are going with all this 'sharing' and its effects. It's a LONG read but interesting. Manage Your Day-to-Day was one of those books that I needed to read a little chunk and then let it sink in. It's pretty meaty--lots of information in a little book. There's still quite a stack of books beside my bed. Some I'll finish, others will go back to the library unfinished. See books 1 & 2 here.
