I hadn't planned to work on my creative family tree project this month. I didn't pick an artist. I was going to let that project go because I have plenty of other things going on. Then I ran across this book at the library, Mark Hearld's Workbook. When I got home with it, I was mesmerized. I quickly realized this was the same artist that illustrated a children's book we had checked out (and loved) a few months ago. I found myself flipping through the book every morning and MANY of my recent sketches have been inspired by his work. I feel like this time, the art picked me.
Fishinkblog has some great photos showing several spreads from the book and a video. Check it out here.
