This year I set a goal to read 72 books, so about 6 each month. I'm off to a good start. This month I read:
- Hunch by Bernadette Jiwa
- Minimalism For Families by Zoe Kim
- Make Your Bed by Ret. Adm. William McRaven
- The Music Shop by Rachel Joyce
- Here by Richard McGuire
- Wrinkle in Time the graphic novel by Hope Larson
- Andy Warhol by Joseph D. Ketner II
This was a really good mix of books for me. Weeks later I'm still making my bed so that had an impact. I really enjoyed the Wrinkle in Time graphic novel. I read the novel as a kid so this a fun refresher of the story and made me even more excited for the movie.
For Christmas I got my mom a 3 month subscription to Book of the Month Club and I got one book free with that purchase. The Music Shop was my free book and I really enjoyed it. I loved all the music references and found myself looking them up and listening to the songs as I read. (There's a also a Spotify playlist for the book.) After my mom read her book, she loaned it to me so I'm getting lots out of this gift!
