Welcome to the year of creative habits book club! This year we decided to switch to a bimonthly book club. Every two months we'll read a book related to creativity. To start off 2018, we chose A History of Pictures by David Hockney and Martin Gayford. (FYI: Books are chosen through a poll in our Facebook group.) You can buy this hardback book on Amazon or at your favorite bookstore for about $30. Or check for it at your local library!
"A picture, says David Hockney, is the only way that we can communicate what we see. Here, in a collaboration with art critic Martin Gayford, he explores the many ways that artists have pictured the world, sharing sparkling insights and ideas that will delight every art lover and art maker." -Abrams Books
Join us! Get a copy and start reading. This isn't the kind of book that a little discussion will spoil the ending so we'll talk about it each Wednesday in our Facebook group. Can't wait to hear what you think!
