What a week it was! Eli had an especially big week. He had a field trip to Jefferson City. He got to tour the capital and sit in on some of the proceedings. He also got to meet our representative Crystal Quade. Then he had his first band competition. They got all I ratings. :)
Friday he took his paper on the Cuban missile crisis to National History Day and we found out that he's moving on State. So big, big week for him and a proud, proud mama. He's finally found his tribe and loves his school.
I am just soaking up the sunlight lately, enjoying these tiny-bit longer days. A few of them were even warm enough to walk the dogs and grill outside. We got a little ahead of ourselves and bought grass seed and flower seeds. Now they are sitting in the basement awaiting the weather to cooperate.
Next week is spring break and spring soccer begins. Oh and daylight savings time. Can't wait.
