The week was a blur. I'm not even sure what we did. Soccer? I think. I worked a lot... finishing up the month and my Frida Kahlo illustrations for the #deadartistsociety activity book. And because I'm slightly crazy (maybe more than slightly?) I joined in with #the100dayproject. I'm keeping it simple though because I pretty much already have a daily project and it goes the whole year. I'm doing a photo-a-day as a way to get back into taking more photos. And if I miss a day (which I already have) I'll just make it up when I remember. So 100 photos could take me 200 days and that's ok.
I started out playing around with the macro setting on my camera. I got these sun catchers a few months ago. They remind me of my grandma. If the sun is out in the morning, then I get little rainbows all over my studio. :)
And the macro setting on Hank. <3
Then I just tried to see things differently. This is the shot I'd usually take.
So I backed up and got the plant in the foreground.
These overhead sun shots are what I usually do.
So I backed up and tried to get something a little different. I like that profile shot, I think I'll try to do more of those.
Trying to tell a story here. This is Thad's stuff and his spot on the rug where he meditates and writes and does all his morning tasks.
So we'll just see where these 100 days take me.
