So last week, I watched Maidentrip. It's not a documentary about art or creativity but I found it very inspiring because it's about following a dream. The description:
14-year-old Laura Dekker sets out on a two-year voyage in pursuit of her dream to become the youngest person ever to sail around the world alone.
I love the way Laura does her thing in her own way. Most people who try to break sailing records try to do so as quickly as possible. Laura thought it was silly to sail around the world and not stop to see it. So she stopped in places along the way, met locals and other sailors, and visited with her family.
My favorite part was the very end when the words "and she kept going." appeared on the screen. As this year of creative habits gets closer to the end of the year, I think that might be a part of my story too.
and she kept going.
