Cookies and milk. Peanut butter and jelly. Some things just go together. You can't have one without the other and that's the case with Dudley and Nell. I couldn't paint one without also painting the other.
Dudley and Nell were left behind when their farmhouse was abandoned sometime in 2014. They had to fend for themselves for quite some time but at least they had each other.
Dudley is a Pyrenees mix and around 6 years old. He came to the Haven weighing only 58 pounds. With regular meals and care, he's gaining weight and likely will weigh around 70 pounds soon. He's a bit cautious at first but comes around very quickly. Dudley watches over and takes care of his best friend, Nell.
Nell is a 35 pound spaniel mix and around 8 years old. She's happy and friendly. She adores everyone! Just look at that smile.
These two have had a pretty rough past and both have some scars to show for it, but they don't hold any grudges about how they were treated before. They've been through a lot together and the Haven would like to see them stay together. It just doesn't seem right to split them up at this point in their lives.
Dudley and Nell are such fantastic examples of resilience, love, and forgiveness. Any family would be lucky to have them. They are available for adoption at Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary.
