On Instagram there's the hashtag #workspacewednesday. It's a fun tag to browse. Everyone has such beautiful spaces. I thought I'd keep it real today and post a few photos of what my studio table usually looks like. If you want to see it clean and beautifully photographed by Paulette Hughes, check out this post, but this is what it looks like today and usually. Or often, it looks even worse. It is also rainy and cold this afternoon so that kinda adds to today's gloomy look.
We have this table that I bought at a thrift shop. It was sturdy and it worked but it wasn't big enough. We took the top off and attached a solid core door to the old base. Now we have a much bigger table but I still need to somehow finish the surface. I'm not a fan of the brown. Someday maybe I'll paint it white...
This is the left side of the table.
and the right side. I'm a piler. Anyone else? Somehow just getting everything into a pile makes me feel organized enough to get back to work. I try to spend a few minutes each evening clearing off the table but that junk pile just never goes away. Oh well.
