I so wanna stop everything I'm doing and take Lisa Condon's latest creative bug class: Making a geometric paper collage.
I also really want to try this tutorial: create a watercolor effect vector logo. My 30 day illustration free trial will be ending soon and I don't feel like I've taken full advantage of it.
Jeff Sheldon of Ugmonk made this video of his trip to Iceland. This makes me want to take more photos and try my hand at video. I'm not usually a fan of videos but I like the way he put this together. Also Iceland, gah!
There's halloween candy in the house. That's distracting by itself. Also I'm pretty excited about our costumes this year. I'm dressing as a famous artist. Any guesses?
November begins on Saturday and I'm thinking about NaNoWriMo. It was last November that I did NaPhoPoMo and that inspired this year of creative habits project. I don't plan to participate in NaNoWriMo but I'm wondering how I could use that writing momentum to help me with my own writing project. I ran across these 3 tips but am thinking about other ways to take advantage of the hoopla that often accompanies NaNoWriMo.
So since I'm already off task today, what cool things are distracting you?!
