I'm thinking that three per month feels like a good pace for me so I now officially set a goal of 40 books for 2016. That'll stretch me just a little. In April I read A Man Called Ove. I saw it recommended on Instagram. It WAS a good read, it just took me a little while to get into it.
Then I started Originals: How Nonconformists Rule the World. I have waited for this book from my library for several weeks. I really liked it and it has already inspired blog posts and new thinking for me. I finished it up while also reading Blue Nights. Many, many people have told me to read Joan Didion and so this was my first one. I love memoirs, so of course I enjoyed this one. She has a fascinating way of writing.
Today I picked up A Year Without Mom which is a graphic novel I've been looking forward to reading. [I never thought I'd love graphic novels so much; I guess I always just pictured comic books.] I'm on the wait list for When Breath Becomes Air and I'm really looking forward to reading it too. What are reading?
