Twenty weeks have passed and I've read nineteen books. Not bad! I'm on way to fifty reads.
I loved Bettyville. It was smart, funny, sad, and real, definitely the best memoir I've read this year. I also loved Better Than Before. It's one that I'll probably buy so I can reread it. I feel like I know quite a lot about habits already but I still really enjoyed this book. I liked all the examples from her readers. I found that she and I learned a lot of the same lessons about habits but she describes them differently and applies them differently. I also liked how she focuses on knowing yourself and trying to build habits in YOUR way that suits you. Both were excellent books, two of the best I've read this year.
Um, my nightstand is a little ridiculous right now. There's no way I'll read all these before they're due back to the library. I can't decide...do I read the book that's due first? The one that can't be renewed? Or the one that I most want to read?
