If you've ever been on a diet or tried to improve your eating habits then you probably made a plan and prepared. You probably made or found a list of foods. You probably made a special trip to the store to stock up on those foods. You probably spent extra time in the kitchen preparing the foods in advance. You probably made a meal plan for the week. So if you are serious about your creative habits, wouldn't you do similar planning and preparation? It's not just magically going to happen. Today I'm printing this calendar to track my days "in the studio." I'm sorting through supplies and will probably make a special trip to the store. I'm making lists and notes in my notebook. I'm pulling together reference materials. I'm clearing space to work. I'm making a plan for the week. Today it's about setting myself up for success.
