I saw this quote over at Creative Something today:
"Being an artist isn’t a genetic disposition or a specific talent. It’s an attitude we can all adopt. It’s a hunger to seize new ground, make connections, and work without a map. If you do those things, you’re an artist.” - Seth Godin
Creativity is innate. It's within you (yes you!) Every single one of us. We express our creativity in different ways--some draw, paint, write, sing, act, dance, etc. One of the most beautiful parts is that even when we choose the same method as another to express ourselves, it will still look/sound different. My drawings will always look different from someone else's. Always. And they should. They come from within me. This year I'm choosing to develop the habits that release the creativity inside of me. If you do those things, you're an artist too.
