This is life through my lens last week. We finally got everyone settled into their new spaces. This is her new Lego set up. Her love for Legos makes me very happy. :)
Even Hank is settling in. My friend Brittany asked me last week which of our dogs is more spoiled. It's definitely this one. Maybe that's because we've had him longer or maybe it's because he's a big baby. (Note the TWO babies of his and that's his blankie too.)
Ok, my toes. Last week my mom texted to let me know that she saw on Facebook that I have "Greek toes"...when the second toe is longer than the others. Apparently I'm athletic and creative. ;)
Tuesday evening was open house at the kids' new school. They had inflatables and games and carnival rides and a firetruck. They sure know how to get kids excited.
My friend Kendra was kind enough to hand model for me. (Bonus that her nails match!) Clara handed me her paintbrushes to clean and it was a classic Instagram moment....except that earlier this week I tried to slice the side of my finger off while getting Clara's breakfast. My hand modeling days are on hold for awhile.
Up and at 'em for the first day of school. Amazing light right now in the mornings. And there's a glimpse of the big bandage on my index finger...
First day photos...one in front of the house and one when we got to school.
For my minimal memory keeping this week, I took photos of what I packed in their lunches on the first day. It was a little dark at 6 a.m. so they're a bit grainy. I think it'll be ok as long as I print them small, probably side-by-side just like this.
Saturday we hung out with family and the kids played with cousins. We were slightly over the hotel pool limit of 6 people. These photos were after all the adults got out and the boys jumped in over and over and over.
And then we finished up the week at the barn. Looking forward to spending time there again when Eli starts back up with riding lessons. This is Harry, the best barn dog there is.
