We are back doing weekly horseback riding lessons. He's loved horses all his life.
She hasn't. It's only been in the last year or so that she feels comfortable at the barn.
She's not interesting in trying it on her own yet but she'll go with him.
Harry the barn dog. He is so NOT my kind of dog yet his personality wins me over every time.
Beautiful weather lately means lessons in the field and on the trail. It's so much more fun that way.
For my minimal memory keeping this week I took photos of some of the writing pages that Clara has brought home from kindergarten. She has known her letters and sounds for a LONG time but has really struggled to put them together. At home, when we ask her to just try to sound out a word or guess the spelling she gets really frustrated. It has been SO amazing to see her writing pages from school and even more amazing that I can mostly figure out what she is trying to say.
"I like it when my Dada tickles me."
"I am taking apart my Cinderella castle."
"I hurt my finger last night."
"I like coloring."
