I'm finally getting back into picture-taking mode! And just in time for the 100 day project. I've got too much going on to do some elaborate project but I still really want to participate.... so a photo-a-day, I can handle that.
This was last Saturday. I got up at 4:30 and then made the drive to Joplin to set up for the Hip Handmade Market. I'm a slow learner but I've finally figured out that I'd much rather get up super early and drive to a show than stay in a hotel by myself. Sometimes it's a really long day but I'd rather sleep in my own bed. Plus sunrise views.
Tuesday he participated in the Ozarks Science and Engineering Fair and the awards ceremony was on Thursday. It was SO much fun. These kids are fantastic. I am SO sick of all the negative talk about kids these days. They are AMAZING. (And if you don't think so, get off the Internet and go to a kids' event in your area.) I really had the best time watching all these smart, creative kids and celebrating their hard work.
Friday may have been the best day we've had in a long while. It feels like it has rained nonstop for a month. But Friday, there was sunshine! And we finished our taxes. So we had to celebrate with a mid-afternoon beer.
Easter morning. My kids aren't so little anymore. :| He is into Hamilton now and he spent all day reading Hamilton: The Revolution.
She got a watch, headphones, and the Wrinkle in Time graphic novel. All day we got updates on what time it was. ;)
We had rain and then sleet and then hail so we just hung out at home... dyed a few eggs then made them into deviled eggs.
