It's the Final Fursday (only one week late!) and the limited edition patches are here. Just to catch ya'll up, here's the short version:
Every Thursday in 2015 I painted a dog from two local rescue groups: Rescue One Springfield and Haven of the Ozarks Animal Santuary. I called it the Fursday project. I shared the dog's story on the blog along with photos and the painting. I sold a few of these paintings and the proceeds went to the rescue groups.
It was a fantastic project. I learned so much and I had a great time. To wrap it all up, I want to raise just a bit more money for these two fantastic rescue groups. Let's help these groups rescue more dogs in 2016. You can:
1) Buy a painting from the project. The price has been reduced and remember that ALL of the money goes to the rescue. Here's a couple of my favorites but you can see all of the paintings still available here.
2) Buy a patch. This is a really inexpensive way to help and you can show your love for rescue dogs by putting this patch on your bag or coat or wherever. All the proceeds from patch sales will be evenly divided between the two rescue groups.
Thanks so much for all your support of the Fursday project and I hope you'll check out my new weekly project called Monday Mournings.
