I remember looking through the Sears catalog when I was little and making my Christmas list. I think the Dick Blick catalog is the big kid version of that.

Thursday was open house for Eli's robotics class. He and his partner named their robot Sarah and then after doing the assignment, they programmed her to do the whip and nae nae.
I've been making piles of crap lately. I think I'm in a weird state of knowing that I don't have any big projects or deadlines until the new year and I'm just feeling unmotivated. And maybe I'm just really over this year and ready for a fresh start...
Saturday, Thad and I checked out a new spot down the street from our house. They have beer and coffee and small bites to eat. I think we're going to like it. :)
It was crazy warm for December and we sat with the windows open and shared a grapefruit sculpin IPA from Ballast Point.
Then in the evening we put the lights and ornaments on our potted Norfolk Pine.
It's busy week around here, a favorite boy is turning 10! Oh and there's some movie coming that he seems kind of excited about... ;)
