Another week of feeling like I didn't pick up my camera enough. :( I need to just get over it. It went from spring back to winter here and that has gotten me all in a funk.
I picked up these lilies from the grocery store to photograph them a la Georgia O'Keeffe. I never could get a good shot from above like her paintings but I like these two shots. Of course I'm more interested in a good silhouette.
Finally got my new glasses after the dog ate my old ones. Here's my reflection in my dirty laptop screen to prove it. Also this week, I downloaded Minecraft onto my laptop for Clara and I've hardly seen my computer since. She's calling it hers now.
I just love the way they soak up the sun. Right after this shot of Spencer (the glasses eater) he raised his head and propped it on the step for a moment. I really don't see how that's comfortable but whatever.
Hank enjoys the sun so much he often naps with his head up.
The redbud tree out the window on the landing of the stairs. It's my favorite tree at this house. Hope it survives this dip back into winter.
We got a new, larger desk for Eli. (I forgot to get a photo of it!) Then Clara got his old desk, which she immediately arranged with journal, piggy bank, favorite pen, and stolen laptop.
The kids are on spring break this week. We are staycationing or as my friend/neighbor Doug calls it "spring broke." :)
That's life through my lens lately.
